We welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions about the content, format, definitions, and calculations utilized in the dashboards. The Giant Data & Research Glossary

The Giant Data & Research Glossary defines terms frequently used by the Research Office. These terms include operational definitions of outcome measures such as success rates, enrolled at census, excused withdrawals etc. The glossary can assist users in understanding how outcome measures used by the Research Office are calculated. In addition, the glossary provides with definitions and information about how student demographic groups such as veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, etc. are categorized. If there are additional outcome measures, student demographic groups, or terms used by the Research Office that you would like defined, please contact our office at research@cos.edu.
