The Resources for Engagement and Active Learning through Mentorship (REALM) ​Program provides support for COS students just beginning their majors level science or math classes; whether they are incoming freshmen or students who have been at COS preparing for these classes, REALM can provide assistance such as:​

• Intensive, one-week college orientation in early June followed by a chemistry or math class
• Guaranteed placement in chemistry or math class for Summer and Fall
• Specialized counseling and assistance with registration in other classes
• Supplemental Instruction, academic coaching and tutoring to reinforce class success
• Field trip and conference opportunities​​
