​The Department of Chemistry at the College of the Sequoias prepares students in both Inorganic and Organic Chemistry.  Students are presented with the option of taking an introductory level course that will help them acquire the skills needed to be successful in other disciplines or to prepare for a more advanced study in chemistry.   Graduates of COS Chemistry have successfully transferred to major U.S. Universities and have established themselves as leaders in the fields of health, education, industry and government.  Many of our former graduates have returned to COS as faculty.   Students interested in more information should meet with a COS counselor to determine the best sequence of courses to meet their transfer or career plans.
