Timelines for UC application:
January - if you took classes in the Fall, you must update your UC application with the final grades. You can skip this step if you already completed your degree/transfer requirements or did not take any classes.
- If there are changes to your academic record after you submit your application, you might need to notify the campuses to which you’ve applied.
- If you change schools or add or drop a course after you submit your application, you should notify all the campuses you applied to except for UC Berkeley, UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara.
- If you failed to earn a C or better in a course after you submit your application, you should notify all the campuses you applied to except for UC Berkeley.
- If you receive an offer of admission, be sure to confirm with the campus admission office that they are aware of any deficient grades or schedule changes.
February- Await the decision. Each campus will notify you of its admission decision, generally by March 31st.
After completing all these steps, you will wait for admission decisions! While waiting, we encourage students to get to know the campus they want to commit to. Try visiting and touring all the campuses you're considering, ask questions, explore the departments, and talk to current students, faculty, and staff.
Attend our Transfer Decision Workshops: Dates TBA
March-June - accept your admission offer. Every campus has a different date for the "intent to register" and process, so check those emails for directions!
Submit your official COS transcripts via BannerWeb and other pertinent documents (College Board, other colleges/universities) to the UC campuses requesting them. Visit the Transfer & Career Center if you need assistance.
Please note: Offers of admission are provisional until the campus receives your final official transcript and verifies successful completion of all coursework required for UC eligibility.
Apply for Financial Aid for the next academic year (2025-2026) and list the campuses you applied to.
