​​​​College of the Sequoias is committed to serving our Black/African American population & other students of color with the Historically Black College & University Pathways program (HBCU). The HBCU Pathways program is designed to assist students in preparation for their transition from the California Community College System to a four-year institution. With over 25 years of experience as a mentor & recruiter serving disproportionately impacted students at the Community College & University level, the program director along with community partners plans to generate diversity & awareness while connecting with students through events. This academic year we plan to host two community events with hopes of participation from our high school partners.
