The Giant Dream Center is a program that provides a safe, caring space for new, continuing, and returning undocumented students who self-identify as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), DREAMers, or AB 540 Eligible. We provide services to ensure student success in academic counseling, personal, social, and career mentoring.  

Mission
We help students overcome challenges to access higher education to acquire certificates, degrees, and transfer readiness.

We strive for student success by providing a holistic approach to student services to support our students' academic, personal, career, social, emotional, and financial well-being.

We strive for student success by providing a holistic approach to student services in order to support our students’ attainment of academic, personal, career, social, emotional, and financial well-being.

 Services provided through our Giant Dream Center:​
  1. Counseling Services: Confidential career, personal and academic advising ( e.g., Student Educational Plans)
  2. Information and assistance on residency classification and related concerns—> AB 540, AB 130, AB 131, SB 68, AB 200​0, DACA, and Financial Advising 
  3. California Dream Act information and support services
  4. Scholarship application assistance
  5. Matriculation guidance
  6. Community resource guide (e.g., Legal Services)
  7. Informational workshops (e.g., Financial Aid, Admissions, Outreach). 
  8. Campus visits to 4-year institutions supporting undocumented/DREAMers students
