 Let's Talk About Us

3-Column Content

 Who we are

Let’s Talk is a free, informal service that provides confidential & supportive conversations with a peer mentor on campus. Let’s Talk is offered to all current COS students who are seeking support and wanting to discover solutions to their challenges during their college journey.

 What we do

Let's Talk provides free, anonymous services from fellow trained student mentors to other COS students. Peer mentoring serves as a bridge for students seeking support, offering a peer-led, relatable, and approachable alternative to traditional counseling. The program ensures that peer mentors are extensively trained and ready to offer support. All that is shared in a session remains strictly confidential unless the student poses a threat to themselves or others.

 Mentors

Peer mentors are not licensed counselors, but rather trained COS student interns. They connect with fellow students as peers, creating a unique space for supportive, nonjudgmental conversations. We believe such interactions can have a significant impact on the student population. Our approach is centered on empowering students. Each peer mentor completes training and is prepared to discuss a wide variety of topics, ranging from stress to more serious concerns. No matter what you’re facing, we’re here to listen with empathy and without judgment.
