​NOTICE: The Laptop and Hotspot Request Form is now CLOSED for Spring 2025. Laptops are still available for check out on a walk-in basis at any COS Library/LRC location. Hotspots are no longer available. For questions, please call the Circulation Desk at 559-730-3825 or email library@cos.edu. ​

To request a laptop and/or wi-fi hotspot for the semester, fill out the Laptop and Hotspot Request Form (MyGiant Portal Access needed). ​

Devices are first come first serve. 

To borrow a laptop or hotspot students must: 

  1. Be enrolled in the current semester.  
  2. Fill out the user agreement at checkout.  
  3. Present a valid photo ID. 

​Students will be contacted for a pickup appointment when devices are available.​ Students will have up to 2 days to pick up their device once they are contacted by staff. 

All devices MUST be returned by the end of the semester. No renewals will be given. If devices are not returned by the due date, the student will be charged the full cost of the device. (See the list of fees below). 

Please note : Only 1 Wi-Fi hotspot per household. ​
