Transfer Agreements

1. Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT), also known as AA-T/AS-T
The California Community College system offers California State University transfer students a great option – the Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT). These degrees (AA-T & AS-T) allow students to complete an Associate’s degree and satisfy lower-division general education and major requirements for transfer at the same time. Students who complete the ADT requirements will:
  • Earn an associate’s degree for transfer from COS;
  • Receive guaranteed admission to a campus in the CSU system (although not to a specific campus/major);
  • A 1.0 GPA bump to the similar CSU Major
  • Are prepared to start upper-division coursework at the CSU;
  • Do not have to complete more than 60 units after transfer.
Click here for a list of ADT degrees at COS: ADT Majors at COS.
To see which CSU campus accepts the ADT degree, visit the CSU ADT Similar Program.
