The Measure C Citizens Bond Oversight Committee reviews bond expenditures and publicly reports on whether funds are properly spent on school construction per the voter-approved measure. It meets quarterly and consists of at least seven members, including one representative each from a community college support group (e.g., student government), a local business organization, a senior citizens' organization, a bona fide taxpayers' organization, and a support organization (e.g., foundation or advisory council), plus two community at large members. District employees, officials, vendors, contractors, or consultants are excluded. Members serve for at least three years, and the Board of Trustees appoints them. All meetings are announced here and are open to the public.
