The Year Round Program begins in the summer semester and has a duration of 26 months.
The Year Round Program requires all of the same coursework as the Traditional RN Program; it is the same curriculum. Where the options differ is that in the Year Round Program, Nursing courses are offered one class at a time and program classes are in back-to-back succession throughout summer, fall, and spring semesters. Lectures are typically scheduled in the evenings on one to two weekdays, and clinical rotations are scheduled every other weekend (both Saturdays and Sundays).
If an applicant is interested in the Year Round RN Program, they must select it on the application when applying. Please note:
- The Year Round Program Option is only available on an application to the fall term.
- Applicants may only select one of the program options listed on the application, each application cycle.
- The Year Round Program may not be available to apply to every fall application. Currently this program is offered every other year.
- 20 seats are offered to each Year Round Program cohort.
The application process for the Year Round Program remains the same as the Traditional RN Program, meaning the requirements to apply are the same, and the selection process is based off the same multicriteria selection matrix.
