MISSION
The mission
of the Hanford Center Library Program is to provide access to information in support of
courses taught at the COS Hanford Campus. The program relies heavily on computers and
allows you to increase your computer literacy and library research skills.
Over the last few years the COS Hanford Campus and the COS Library in
Visalia have been developing a program that brings COS Library materials and librarian
expertise from the Main campus to our off-campus program in Hanford. While we cannot, of
course, duplicate our Visalia Library, we can bring valuable resources back to you in
reasonable time for you to complete your assignments.
RESOURCES

can be identified on the COS Online Book catalog available on computers in the Hanford
Center Library. These books can be borrowed from the main campus. Refer to Hanford Center

COS Library subscribes to and provides a summary about every article cited in the index. Copies of articles from the main campus library can
sent to you at the Hanford Center Library.
- Los Angeles Times Newspaper -
