When you need to perform a research for your classes you can use different library recourses that we mentioned in class:
It is OK to use keyword search, but you may consider other options, too:
Title Search (when you know the title of the book or, at least,
some of the words in the title)
Author Search (when you know the
author's name)
Subject Search (if you
know the topic or subject that you are researching
Electronic Databases
- Use COS Library databases to do your research. If you are not on
campus, you will need login information (available at the Library's Reference
Desk or from your instructor).
NetLibrary (eBooks)
- More than 6,000 books in electronic format on various topics.
Students must create an account while on campus.
