First Year Experience Seminar

Student can visit COS Library anytime, from any computer with an internet access. Use this address (URL): http://cos.edu/library/ , choose  Library from the Quick Links on the bottom of COS homepage or type "COS Library" using your favorite search engine (Google, Yahoo, Ask, ...)

If you'd like to use the library building the hours are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30am – 8:00pm

  • Friday: 7:30am – 12:00pm

  • Saturday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

When you need to perform a research for your classes you can use different library recourses that we mentioned in class:

Title Search (when you know the title of the book or, at least, some of the words in the title)

Electronic Databases - Use COS Library databases to do your research. If you are not on campus, you will need login information (available at the Library's Reference Desk or from your instructor).

NetLibrary (eBooks) - More than 6,000 books in electronic format on various topics. Students must create an account while on campus.
